Our History
Our founders, Mr. Mathews Chacko and his wife Mrs. Rachel Mathews are determined to continue emphasizing the foundation values on which the school was built: To regard every student as a unique & valued person whose mind, body and spirit need nurturing in a loving and caring environment. It is this holistic approach that makes Bethany Academy stand out as one of the finest institutions in education.
Bethany opened its gates for the very first time, 36 years ago, to a new batch of students on the 1 st of June 1983. Ever since that day, Bethany Academy has stood firmly on the doctrine, “Deo Supremo” (God First) and continues to impart academic excellence along with holistic development ensuring that every student passing through our portals faces the outside world with integrity and a morally strong character.
Our School
Bethany Academy is a co-educational residential school which exists to provide the best education, affordable for all, based on sound principles for children of various ages right from Montessori to Junior College.
Sports and Games form an integral part of our school curriculum. Year after year, it is our constant endeavor to involve more and more students to take part in various games and activities. The school has facilities for sports and games such as Football, Basketball, Swimming, Volleyball, Athletics, Badminton, etc.

Our Mission
Bethany Academy aims at educating a whole person fully-to inculcate more values in young boys and girls, enrich their skills and to transform them into mature human beings, who are physically fit, mentally alert, spiritually sound, loving, service-minded and self-confident.
Bethany Academy will assist the students in their pursuit for knowledge and for the realization of their relationship with God, man and nature, thus enabling them to take their rightful place at home and in society.
Chairman’s Message
The root concept of Bethany (Gift of God) started to form in our minds over 50 years ago. However, this concept came into being 40 years ago in the form of Bethany Educational Society. Now as we look back, we are totally amazed at how God have worked out even the minutest details in bringing Bethany – the Gift of God, to this point.
Today Bethany Academy – Montessori Creative Arts Center – for the two to six year olds, CBSE – classes 1 to 8, ICSE – classes 1 to 10,
ISC – classes 11 & 12 (Junior College) in Commerce, Humanities and Science with close to 1,500 students is a miracle in this part of the country. Also,
Civil Service
Coaching is offered for classes five & above. Entrance Coaching for ISC students for professional education is our specialty.
I would like to wholeheartedly thank the community, parents, students and the highly qualified staff for all their support. Above all, we thank God Almighty for His blessings and protection on our endeavor to build a brighter tomorrow and shaping a new generation by focusing on the future of the students.

Principal’s Welcome Message
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the student body of Bethany Academy!!!
I have been privileged to experience life as a student of this wonderful institution way back in 1983 when I joined as a 6th-grade student. I owe so much to Bethany Academy as this is where I bloomed and blossomed as an individual.
The passion of the teachers and the management towards the progress of each child is remarkable. After my post-graduation and B.Ed, it was an honour to begin my teaching career
right here at Bethany Academy.
We take pride in establishing a connection with our students and that is why long after they leave the portals of this school for distant
lands, they keep on coming back year after year to live the wonderful memories of school life again.
Since 2012, it has been my honour and joy to be the Principal of this wonderful Institution. Ours is unique because we don’t focus only on Academics. We give importance to the overall growth of the child so that they will be equipped to face the real world when it’s time to bid adieu to school life. We can accomplish this because of our marvellous teachers and staff.
Our spacious campus boasts of being a home away from home with organic vegetables grown in our own greenhouse, a poultry farm, active training in sports and games and lacks nothing. We go the extra mile to ensure that all our students are on the road to success holding firmly to the belief that education is the passport to the future.
